Comfy Shoezies!

Hello hello!
So, if you guys are anything like me, you care a lot about comfort. I, especially, need to be comfortable for uni. Because of this, you’ll always see me wearing my comfiest shoes. Comfy shoes, though, can also be stylish. My favorite on-the-go pair of ahies are my Steve Madden moccasins!

These babies are my life savers. Other than the fact that they’re nice and easy to combine with anything, they’re soooo easy to pull on. I love them!

Which are your favorite pair of shoes? Do you like moccasins?

Hope you guys enjoy!
Take care,

Two Outfits Feat. Glitch Skirt

Hellooo guys!
Since I’m not going any time soon, I don’t think, I’m going to post two outfits featuring my latest purchase. Hope you enjoy!

This first outfit is a grunged version of the second. I wanted to toughen it out so I paired the skirt with an American Apparel cropped white t-shirt, a Brandy Melville distressed chambray top and Jeffrey Campbell Lita’s. Maybe I’d also belt it or pair the Lita’s with high socks.

This second outfit is my favorite! It’s a fun, girly take on the first look. I paired the skirt with a strapless floral bodysuit from Zara, a vest from F21 (I think) and a pair of nude heels from Bakers. It’s a fun, Spring-like outfit and I shall wear it!!! Maybe pairing it with a light hat would also look nice.

So what do you guys think? Would you wear any of these outfits? Which one is more you?

Take care!!

I am surprisingly pleased with this purchase. The skirt’s fabric is a dream and it fits perfectly. I can’t wait to wear this skirt!
What do you guys think? Would you rock this skirt? What is your latest purchase?
Hope you guys are well!

Outfit of the Night – Feeling Sick Edition

Hello guys!
As I had said, I’m sick and getting medical attention at home. Tonight is my night off! Got that catheter out, for the night. Tomorrow morning is another story. Anyway, my boy and I are going to an ex co-worker’s house for a veeery late Christmas party.
I kept it fresh, because I’m sure it’s gonna be warm. I did go all out with a red lip ’cause I have been stuck at home for two days not doing anything, in my pajamas.
Here’s what I’m wearing:

Wearing: top is the gloria v bodysuit from American Apparel // shorts are high-waist from American Apparel // belt from Nasty Gal // purse is from H&M // Soiree Heels by Jeffrey Campbell

What are your plans for tonight? Night in or night out? What are you wearing?
Hope you guys have awesome plans for tonight as well!

New Purchase!

Hey guys!
Sorry I’ve been MIA for the last few days, but I had mentioned I was sick, and it’s gotten worse. I’m being treated at home, which means a lot of sleeping and watching TV. No going out. Even though I’m feeling so badly, my Valentine’s Day was great! My boyfriend wrote me the sweetest letter and taped it under my English class seat. Then he was waiting outside with my favorite treat – chocolate covered strawberries! He’s so amazing! Later we just watched TV at home and chilled.
Today, I was a little teeny tiny bit bored and tired of my situation so I online shopped… Guilty. I had a few money left over from my last purchase because it was supposed to be express and they couldn’t express ship those day so they paid me back. And I finally used that money.

I purchased this Glitch Skirt from Nasty Gal. Although it’s pink, which isn’t really my color, I still really dig it. It’s still my style and I can’t wait to wear it. It’s the kind of skirt you could dress up or dress down.

So guys, what’s up with you? How was your Valentine’s Day? What did you wear?
Hope you had a great Valentine’s Day!

Outfit of the Night

Hello my loves!
Last night my boyfriend and I attended an activity where we got to try free wine and free food from different restaurants. I only had one glass of wine because I’m still not completely better. I did have a lot of strawberries covered in chocolate. Yum. After that we went to an old colleague’s birthday at a restaurant and then to Old San Juan to meet up with the close friends.
Here are a few pictures of what I wore:

Wearing: top from Nasty Gal // flowy shorts from Brandy Melville // clutch purse from Steve Madden // suspender tights by House of Holland from Nasty Gal // Jeffrey Campbell Night Walks from Urban Outfitters // lipstick is a mix of MAC’s Creme Cup and MAC’s Fresh Brew

I almost fell in those damn Night Walks. They’re easy to walk in unless where you live has a bunch of cracks in the streets, like Puerto Rico.
What did you guys do last night? Have you had an almost trip in a pair of your favorite heels?
Hope you enjoyed!

Puerto Rican Fashion – “Different” Done Right

Hello my loves!

I want to take a moment to talk about Puerto Rican fashion. For those of you who don’t know, Puerto Rico is a small island, a Commonwealth of the United States of America. Anyway, here the fashion rules are pretty simple: keep it simple. If you come to Puerto Rico to our only high-end hang-out spot, Condado, you’ll see a lot of gorgeous women wearing almost the exact same thing. Let me clear this up; they’re nice pieces of clothing, they look nice, and they’re probably expensive as well. I don’t want to diss the way most Puerto Ricans dress, but what I feel is that there’s a lack of personal style. They’ll all wear bandage skirts, with chiffon tops, gold necklaces, and Steve Madden heels. Maybe mix it up with a bandage dress, silver accessories, and Jessica Simpson heels. Usually that’s where they all stay at. They’re stuck in a comfort zone. I used to live in the same comfort zone, up until I went to New York and saw how amazing people could dress. I was in that comfort zone because I was afraid of seeming tacky, but there are ways of avoiding this. There’s a way to do “different” right. This, of course, altered my perception of fashion forever. All I wish for is that they come out of that comfort zone, try different styles, and shop at different stores other than Zara and Bliss Boutique. I know, I know, we have limited versatility in terms of actual clothing stores. Personally, I prefer to shop online. There are also two great options here in Puerto Rico, which, for now, are some of the best kept secrets. One being The Velvet Roomย and the other being Ouna’s Closet. The Velvet Room is a bit more stylish, but Ouna’s Closet is awesome for vintage finds!

With that being said, here are a few ladies who agreed to appear on my blog and do “different” right.

First we have Crystal. This little lady I met a few years ago due to a mutual friend and I have always loved her style. She had that usual Puerto Rican look, but with a twist. Now she’s on another level. She wears leather, fringe, palazzo pants, you name it – she rocks it. Aside from her obvious beauty, she puts together daring outfits where sexy meets chic meets grunge. Here are a few pics from her facebook page:

Next we have Coraliz. This chick I love because she has such a laid back look, but she uses special vintage pieces that just have to grab your attention because they’re so cute. I met her because we both worked for the same promotions company. Other than being one of the prettiest girls on campus, she always always always brings her A-game. Unlike myself. I have never bumped into her and said “Today she looks so-so”, she’s always on point. Here are a few pictures from her facebook featuring her awesome sporty meets chic meets vintage style:

Last, but certainly not least, is Del Mar. In case you’re wondering, no that is not her real name, but that’s the one she prefers. Moving on… This chick is probably my personal favorite person to stalk and watch what she’s wearing. I remember I first noticed the knuckle-ring fad because of her. Not only does she have a sick style, she’s also one of the coolest chicks, and is currently residing in “la creme de la creme” of high fashion, NYC. Her style is pretty 90’s grunge meets chic meets minimal. I adore her and you should, too. Here are a few pictures from this lovely lady’s facebook page:

Well, that’s all I have for you guys today! Hope you enjoyed these ladies’ sick styles.

What do you think? Who’s style do you love more? Who’s style resembles yours most?

Look What (FINALLY) Arrived!

Hello lovelies!
These last few days, as I mentioned before, I’ve been sick. As such, I’ve also been staying with my sister. Today I’m back in my home and I checked the mail to finally get my Super Suspender Tights! In the last shipment they sent the wrong tights, but they had super amazing customer service and corrected it right away!
So now I just want to go out and wear them ๐Ÿ™‚

… But I’m still sick.

What do you think? Would you rock these Suspender Tights?
Hope you guys enjoy your weekend!

Want/Wish List

Hello hello!
I’ve been sick these last few days, which means I may not be doing as many outfit posts. Buuut I still have the ability to see what I’m into and what I’m not on the interwebz ;). So I’ve put together just a few things I’m desperately desiring lately.

This here is a mock t-shirt of the original Cรฉline t-shirts. Those Cรฉline t-shirts are undoubtedly too expensive for just being a t-shirt. In any case, I find this Michael Agwunobi hilarious and fun!

These American Apparel Bloomer shorts are so cute! I can’t help but want to snuggle with my boyfriend in them. They also look very comfortable, but still pretty.

These Opaque Thigh-Highs from American Apparel are a huge want. I’ve been on Little Black Boots’s blog nonstop and I love how she uses these socks! She made me want to need them.

Seeing so many photos of Little Black Boots and Cara Delevingne made me just crave me a beanie! One just like this one from Luna B.

I absolutely need a chunky necklace like this Gogo Philip necklace. I love gold accessories and this necklace just goes with everything.

Last, but definitely not least, these amazing pointed heels from Choies. These heels are gorgeous! And not only that, but they’re not that high, so they look like they’re comfortable. I’ve been wanting a pair of heels like these for AGES.

Which is your favorite? What do you have on your want/wish list?
Hope you enjoyed!
Take care lovelies!

Super Bowl Outfit of the Night

Hello there my lovelies!

Here is the outfit post promised earlier today. As you all MUST know, last night was the Super Bowl, so my boyfriend and I went to watch it at a friend’s house. I’m not really a big fan of football, but I actually enjoyed it. It was really fun to watch. Especially with the guys, because they’re just hilarious. After it was over we even played 20 questions for a while.

Anyway, here is what I wore…

Wearing: top from Strawberry // shorts by MinkPink from Nasty Gal // necklace from F21 // boots from Bakers // lipgloss is YSL’s Golden Praline

I kept it pretty casual because, as I said, we just went over to a friend’s house. Nothing fancy. I did feel very comfy, yet stylish.

What do you think of this outfit? Where did you watch the Super Bowl?

Hope you enjoyed! Take care!
